Community college graduates looking to obtain a four-year degree, seasoned professionals seeking to increase their marketability, or individuals wanting to enhance their skills as they re-enter the workforce will find a host of opportunities through the Rutgers Off Campus program.
About the Campus
The Raritan Valley Community College campus provides a range of opportunities for study, relaxation, exercise, and culture, with a 1,000-seat regional theater and a planetarium among its highlights. High-tech classrooms are equipped with network connections, and students enjoy wireless access throughout the campus. The college’s Science Center includes state-of-the-art labs and houses the Institute for Biotechnology Education. The newest campus addition, the West Building, is stocked with the latest in multimedia and computer technology.
Raritan Valley Community College sits on the north side of Route 28 in North Branch, at the crossroads of Central New Jersey. Routes 22, 202 and 206, and interstates 287 and 78 are just minutes away.
The Rutgers Off Campus undergraduate degree completion program provides students, who have earned an associate’s degree from an accredited community college, the opportunity to pursue a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers; up to 60 credits can be transferred.
Anyone looking to enroll in the Rutgers Off Campus degree program must meet the admissions criteria of Rutgers University. All applications are submitted to and reviewed by the university admissions department. Students who successfully complete an Off Campus degree receive a traditional Rutgers diploma; there is no mention of off-campus matriculation.
Faculty and Staff
All Rutgers Off Campus courses are taught by Rutgers University faculty members who are renowned for their teaching and research skills. Depending on the degree program, online courses may also be available.
